Set within one of Chennai's densest residential neighbourhoods, the house is planned around a double-height central courtyard that brings sky and cross-ventilation into every room.

The palette — fair-faced concrete, teak joinery, and lime-washed walls — is restrained, allowing the planted courtyard to become the primary sensory experience of the home.
